Know your history to the extent that you can, and many histories to the extant that you can.
Then you will know
Why your memory is important. Why empathy is important.
Why guilt's an energy distortant
Why real love's ears hear pain and just want to support it
Knowing fixing is times medicine if you move on and converse-construct
Future times, love in mind, acting through love a lot of the time
Feeding mouths so brains can learn if money can think in only those terms
IF money chokes eyes to see only supplies and commodities when they look into thighs and thine eyes.
TO mee I seem to see the case
where that's just it
I've lost the race
I'm just not on a billionaire's path
Whole world's top's taking off
erasing the imaginary ladder
You were right all along there was never a chance
There are no self made men,
And few womyn,
born with billions.

Hello other white people, racism as it exists today is a system that in one very very small example allows us not to think about our color because society feedsback to us very rarely in this way, this way being what you will see in this video. imagine the dolls reversed in this video, imagine your mother there. Now imagine noticing little things like that your whole life. Then think about what it means for us to be white in this country today. It's certainly not one thing or another but it is a diversity of somethings that effects each of us, think about it after the post.

'68 Notice the word SHARECROPPER. ('68 USA)
Laugh AT her and you've decided not to understand her words. Try harder, not that i'm pretending to understand every word but I allowed my ear to adjust and caught a lot of em.

It maybe a natural curiosity in this world but its about always white people who seem most concerned with immediately apprehending what race the person with which they are currently speaking supposedly "is". As if that will tell them much about a person. We know what it means to be of a certain race in this united states of america, vaguely at least, with many exceptions, and that knowledge SHOULD remain vague because knowing a persons race still means you don't know the PERSON yet. See the distinction I'm driving at? Race is a set of cultural and experiential assumptions about a person that you as a person who desires respect need to develop the practice and experience to be able to SEE PAST IMMEDIATELY, admit despite what we've been taught that you do not know that person at all. AT ALL.
Put respect for difference in your heart before the question, if the question at all, because you and I have a lot to learn and will until we lay down for the very last time to die if we are lucky enough to be laying comfortably. Race doesn't matter until it matters after all. The struggle to allow it not to matter is still ahead of us.
